Meet The MM Team

Hi! My name is Jill and I am an occupational therapist on the Movin’ Mountains team. In 2020 I completed my Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto, after completing my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Victoria. In the past I have worked extensively with children and youth in life skills, recreation, and education settings, including roles as a community support worker, life skills leader, and inclusion educator. These experiences have contributed to the development of an occupational therapy lens focused on strength-based, family-centred care in order to support a child and their family in participating in activities that are important to them and their daily lives.

As per the things that are important to me; exploring the Kootenays with my son and husband via (very) slow walks, bumpy bike rides, and long drives.
