Hi! I’m Erin McIntosh (she/her/hers) and I’m a registered physiotherapist. I respectfully live, work, and play on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Sinixt People.

I have a B.Sc. in Kinesiology with distinction from the University of Calgary where I was lucky enough to play 5 years of varsity basketball with the Dinos and represent Canada at the 2019 FISU games in Naples, Italy. After experiencing my fair share of injuries throughout my athletic career, I was inspired to pursue my Masters in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta.

I believe in a whole person client-centred approach to physiotherapy collaborating to understand their unique goals and needs. My treatment style combines manual therapy with therapeutic exercise, and play! Some of my experience includes working in Calgary with the Autism & Aspergers Friendship Society’s fitness and recreation programs for children on the autism spectrum, and with Qi Creative in Edmonton adaptive skiing and rock climbing. I was fortunate enough to have a placement in Edmonton at the Stollery Children’s Hospital, working with clients to resolve physical function, pain, trauma, chronic disease, and mobility for children with movement disorders. I’ve also had the opportunity to coach summer camps for 5 years, as well as club U11 and U15 basketball, and I love working with young athletes. I hope to help my clients find joy in motion with the goal of being physically active for life.

Outside of work you can find me crafting, skiing, biking, running, and hiking or otherwise enjoying the outdoors.
