Mothering Self-Care Workshop Series

This 4-week series is designed for new and experienced mothers – those thick in the hustle and bustle of being a care-taker, provider and one bad-ass woman!
Set aside this intentional time for yourself, whether you have just had a baby or have toddlers at home, this Collaborative Series will weave complimentary modalities, topics & practitioners to focus on the inherent challenges and magic of motherhood: physically, emotionally and mentally.
Each week a local therapist will accompany Danielle Hachey (RYT 200 HR, Madhuri Method Ayurveda Yoga Teacher, Pre & Post Natal Yoga Teacher)
Nov. 19 – ‘Getting intimate with your pelvic floor’ with Sarah Adamson, Physiotherapist.
Nov. 26 – ‘Sleep: for Babe & Mama’ with Tamsin Snodgrass, Occupational Therapist
Dec. 3 – Tools for Stress & Anxiety with Clinical Counsellor Jineya Naicker
Dec. 10 – Nourishing the Mother with Nutritionist Jana Hope
For the Yoga component you can expect:
-An intentional yoga practice, progressing through asana (postures) focussing on ultimate alignment principles.
-Meditation techniques to integrate into your home practice.
-Mantra: traditional chants to share with your babe & family or hum to yourself!
-Ayurvedic self-care rituals that are practical, quick and do-able for busy moms!!
