My name is Jayne Gracey, and I am very excited to join the amazing team at Moving Mountains. I hope to contribute to the great environment where everyone is growing, learning and feeling positive about all they achieve!
I grew up in Northern Ireland. I completed my physiotherapy degree in the UK in 2005. I have worked in the UK, Northern Ireland and Canada since. During this time I have worked in both the hospital and private setting, treating patients both young and “not so young”! My main focus is on the treatment of neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. Post graduate courses include; Neuro-developmental treatment, functional movement training, rehabilitation for amputees and vestibular rehabilitation.
Moving to Vancouver in 2011 allowed me to enjoy the mountains and ocean! I had a steep learning curve developing my snowboarding and mountain biking skills! I settled in Rossland 5 years ago and enjoy all there is to offer. Snowboarding, skiing, biking, running and hiking. I also love to just relax at home, cook and spend time with my partner and furballs, Reggie and Myrtle!
My quote; the biggest hill has the best view. I chose this quote as it reminds me to look forwards, even when the hill gets steep, encourages me to work hard and achieve the things that are important to me! During my 13 years working as a physiotherapist, this is everything I hope for all I encounter!
